Research & Evidence

Our programmes are not ad hoc wellbeing activities. They are grounded in years of action research, EU-validated across multiple countries, and now entering a formal UK feasibility study with Brunel University London.

UK research partnership

In collaboration with Brunel University London

The P.E.A.C.E.® Pedagogy is being formally studied in the UK through a feasibility and impact study running 2026–2027, in partnership with the Lab of Experiential Neuroscience and Analysis (LENA) at Brunel University London.

The study examines whether the P.E.A.C.E.® programme can be successfully delivered and welcomed within the UK secondary school context — looking at student engagement, emotional regulation outcomes, and feasibility of wider implementation.

Schools participating in the pilot contribute directly to this research — helping to build an evidence base for structured mindfulness and SEL programmes in UK schools.

Emotion regulation
How structured mindfulness practices support students in recognising and managing emotional responses, including anxiety and stress.
Psychological distress
Whether the programme reduces psychological complaints and supports positive engagement in learning and creative activities.
Attention & focus
The impact of regular mindfulness practice on sustained attention, concentration and self-regulatory capacity in classroom contexts.
Feasibility & acceptability
Whether the programme can be successfully implemented in UK schools — examining student, teacher and leadership reception and engagement.
EU Erasmus+ validation

WISE UP — validated across 6 countries

WISEWAYS is the UK adaptation of WISE UP — a digital wellbeing programme co-developed through the EU Erasmus+ programme (ref. 2019678) with 12 partners across France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece and Turkey.

The WISE UP programme underwent rigorous multi-country validation, ensuring the methodology is robust, culturally adaptable and effective across diverse educational contexts. The UK rollout as WISEWAYS builds on this validated foundation.

UK framework alignment

Aligned with OFSTED and DfE guidance

Both the P.E.A.C.E.® Programme and WISEWAYS support the mental health and wellbeing priorities of UK schools, aligned with OFSTED guidance on personal development and the DfE wellbeing frameworks.

📋
OFSTED — Personal Development
Our programmes support OFSTED's focus on personal development — developing students' emotional literacy, self-regulation, resilience and positive relationships, all of which contribute to a school's personal development judgement.
🏛️
DfE — Wellbeing Frameworks
Both programmes are aligned with the Department for Education's wellbeing frameworks, addressing mental health literacy, socio-emotional skills and the whole-school approach to student wellbeing.
